| The National Vintage Racing Association hosts the NVRA "Vintage Thunder Racing Series". The NVRA cars were displayed at the September 9, 2006 event and raced that same evening at New Gordon Park Speedway located just a few miles from the event at Diamond Lakes Regional Park. |

| This annual public no charge event is hosted by the Augusta International Raceway Preservation Society (AIRPS), a 501C3 non profit organization. We need your help to make future memorial expansions possible. Over 110 additional drivers were added to the current monument in time for the September 8, 2007 event. |
